We had breakfast on board, bacon and fried egg rolls to give us some fuel for the day ahead.
It took around an hour and a bit to reach Normand Reef.
We stopped at this diving site for around 2-3 hours. We snokerled first and then did the scuba diving in small groups of 4, as it was an introductory dive.
It was amazing seeing all the gorgeous fish and touching them! :)
The water was crystal clear too!
We all jumped back on the boat and had our lunch, an Aussie barbie!
I had sausage and beef steak with couscous, Greek salad and a mango salad.
We went to the next diving site, which was the furthest away that you can get from Cairns! This one wasn't as good as the first one as it was more for the qualified divers!
We jumped back on the boat and soaked up the sun on the way back to Cairns, with some free wine and cheese!
When we arrived back at the apartment, we changed quickly and headed to the lagoon!
We then walked along the front whilst the sun was setting.
We stopped in the Pier wine bar to have a drink. I choose a Passionfruit moijos and Lau had a chocolate style cocktail.
We walked back to the apartment and made some food. On the menu tonight was scotch fillet steak with balsamic and onion sauce accompanied by grilled long stem broccoli, asparagus, sugar snap peas and avocado.
For dessert we had some jelly with figs and custard.
