Hannah worked from home and Lau headed off to work after making her banana protein pancakes at around 10:30. I made myself a spinach omelette with golden cherry tomatoes.
I met up with her in the Westfield Shopping Mall in Chatswood at lunch to visit the shop Athletes Foot, to get my foot arch and size measured as I suffer from a very painful and clicky right ankle. I managed to find a very supportive black pair that I can wear with anything!
I headed to a Sushi bar in the food court of Westfield called Hero Sushi. I choose a chicken with lettuce, cucumber, carrot, red onion and red pepper with a sweet chilli dipping sauce, along with a fresh crab and cucumber sushi roll topped with crab and served with soy sauce. Both were equally as stunning, I was in heaven! :D
I walked around the shopping mall for a bit and then caught the train back to Lindfield as it was overcast.
By the time I got back to the apprartment it had brightened up. I sat on the balcony and read my book in the 30 degree sun!
It was super sunny!
Lau arrived back home and we started looking at flights to the Barossa Valley and we booked paddle boarding with Manly surf school.
We had chicken stir fry tonight, all made from scratch with chicken, spring onions, peppers, onions, ginger, garlic, and beensprouts in a oyster sauce. It was lovely, the sauce was spot on and the tender chicken absorbed all the garlic flavour! :)
The following morning, Hannah headed to work and Mark worked from home for the day.
Lau and myself had avocado, pea and feta smash with scrambled eggs for breakfast and then got ready to go to the beach.
We caught the train to Townhall and then caught a bus to Bondi beach.
We arrived around midday and walked down to the beach.
It was super windy with sand blowing everyone! When it hit your legs it felt like pins and needles!
We walked back to the Main Street where the shops are based. We walked along until we found something that took our fancy for lunch, burgers! :)
The place was called Moo Gourmet Burgers. I choose the Australian Angus Natural Beef Burger with avocado purée, free range bacon, tomato, mixed lettuce, homemade mayo and tomato relish. All in a gluten free bun and served with sweet potato chips. These chips were so lush and additive!! I loved the addition of the avocado in the burger, it tasted stunning!
We headed back to the beach and walked towards the far side where the green is, as we were shelted by the wind.
On Bondi beach you'll find mainly tourists and hardly any Aussie people!
We sunbathed on the green for a bit and then walked along the beach path.
At the far end of the beach they have a famous outdoor workout gym.
I choose a cappuccino ice cream with feather like pieces of flake! :)
The view from the top deck of the train station is always amazing of the city!
We were back just in time for the shopping tour, where Lau's personal trainer, Ben and another personal trainer, Drew took us around the supermarket and talked about the food that they recommend for training.
It was very interesting plus they are both hilarious together, like a comedy double act!
We arrived home, to Mark and Hannah cooking dinner. Tonight was a baby spinach, goats cheese, roasted butternut squash, balsamic glaze and shavings of Parmesan salad, with a medium cooked Scotch Fillet of Beef Steak.
Both were amazing! Definatly making this salad at home! :)
For dessert I had meringue with Greek yogurt, blueberries, raspberries and maple syrup which was recommended to us by Ben earlier that evening.
